Projects & Clients

Each Turner Troxell church project is inspired by our own deeply held faith and love of God. We take the time to understand your unique goals as a congregation before presenting a blueprint or development plan recommendations. It is important that your new or renovated space is reflective of your practices, history and hopes for the future. From concept to completion, each of our church assignments reflects an extraordinary emphasis on architectural detail and special devotion to creating the perfect space for your spiritual gatherings.

New Beginning Church of God

Baltimore, Maryland

The New Beginning Church of God originated as a movie theatre, and was converted to a church in the 1950s. Since that last transformation, nothing had been done to preserve the building's significant past.

During renovation, Turner Troxell uncovered the movie theatre's original dome ceiling that had been enclosed during the prior renovation. After restoration and repainting, the dome now acts as a main focal point in the congregation's gathering space.

Dear Mr. Turner,

Words cannot express our deep appreciation for the work that you have done in our sanctuary. You and your staff were patient with us, and worked in excellence to meet our expectations. You not only met our expectations but your company far exceeded them.

We also want to express our gratitude for the way you accommodated us so that we were still able to conduct services at the church while it was under construction. Your team worked so diligently to see that our sanctuary was ready for our morning service each day, just as you said it would be.

May your company soar in years to come so that every need that Turner Troxell and its staff have will be met because of the way they have blessed The New Beginning family.

In His Service,

Elder Jimmie C. Thompson, Sr.
