We have worked with this lovely family several times in the past helping to transform their house into their dream home. The kitchen is the center of this family’s life allowing them to host large gatherings regularly. For this project we converted an underused sunroom and the existing small kitchen into a large modern kitchen. We added a mudroom to make entry seamless without interrupting the busy kitchen space. Keeping the cozy feel of this house was important, so we widened entrances for easy flow through the space rather than removing walls. This house had all the space it needed, it just needed the vision to be used most efficiently.
Some of the most beautiful details of this project include the dark inlay in the hardwood floors made to match the inlay in the rest of the house, the counter level windows that maximize the amount of light brought in through the windows and the custom range hood that perfectly mixes chef’s kitchen and modern farmhouse style.
