These clients bought their house in the adorable Maxellea neighborhood, but they didn’t love the look of their home. In fact, when they moved in, they referred to it as one of the neighborhoods’ homes needing the most love. Visions of a modern home encouraged them to hire a firm like ours that works creatively to come up with solutions with the home owners. We completely revamped the outside of the home, stripping peeling paint and old siding, a deteriorated balcony, removing old 60’s era sliding windows, and adding energy-efficient and sleek black framed windows that upgraded the look of the home dramatically.
Inside we removed and relocated walls and rooms everywhere to make it all work for their family and their life style. We opened up the first floor by connecting kitchen and dining areas, adding an awesome adjacent family room, and designed a striking new kitchen perfectly fitting their own kitchen-use and style. We installed consistent flooring throughout the home, refinished hardwoods, and rebuilt and relocated the 2nd floor baths while upgrading them to a new standard. Now they have one of the most attractive homes in the neighborhood.
