At first we were overwhelmed by the thought of doing such a massive project with a baby on the way. But, Doug's detailed and transparent designs and plans gave us the confidence to move forward. Jim was a great project manager and his team, especially Mike, really made us feel comfortable every step of the way. We welcomed their daily presence in our home and appreciate how hard they worked to keep the project on track. We kind of miss having them around 🙂 The kitchen turned out beautifully and we are enjoying it more than we could have imagined.

I'll never forget the personal interest and attention to detail they took to complete the project. I enjoyed getting to know the team and really appreciated the hard work they completed, on a strict schedule, all details hammered out. The crew was considerate of my feelings and they were absolutely welcome in my home. The quality of work and pride they took in doing an excellent job is rare in today's world.

We had a great experience with Doug and Turner-Troxell in general. They were very helpful in planning our project, presenting ideas where we needed guidance, but also helping our own ideas come to fruition. They were professional, courteous and respectful of our house and time, even adjusting noisy work to times when I wasn't sleeping during the day. Doug was always available when needed, personally meeting us to discuss issues that came up. The workmanship was excellent and we were extremely pleased with the way our kitchen and family room renovation turned out.

Turner Troxell completed a first floor family room/mudroom addition with a full basement below it for us in 2014. We cannot recommend them enough! The project went very smoothly with exceptional attention to detail. The renovations were completed on time and within budget. Doug and his team are top notch. Everyone we dealt with throughout the project was respectful, hardworking, and conscientious. We would gladly hire them again for our next project without hesitation.

We got so much more than just a new, beautiful kitchen. It's amazing what knocking down a few walls and changing a few doorways can do. We couldn't be happier. We were always comfortable with our project manager, and all the other guys who worked in our home. They cleaned up each day and made the whole process as smooth as possible. We are so glad Doug helped us think beyond our own ideas of what our remodel could accomplish. If we hadn't, we'd be having to start another project now to fix some of these same things.

We are just delighted with our new home. Everyone who visits says the same thing: It's as though the addition were there the whole time. It really feels so beautifully integrated with the rest of the house. Everywhere we're finding such terrific extras: the full, heavy doors, the perfectly replicated trim around the windows; the sturdiness of the floors and the pleasing visual balance and flow of just everything. Most important were the creative solutions that you guys came up with when challenges arose. You all worked hard to balance form and function so the house *worked.* It's one thing to be able to execute a job according to plan, but the real test is thinking your way around obstacles. Every day Turner Troxell was hard at work. Everyone was just amazing, their skills surpassed only by their amiability. The painters were tireless, and the siding guys were so happy to show us what they'd accomplished: they were proud of their work, and for good reason! To have artisans kind of "camped in" with you over months is a challenge, but all your guys were so courteous, even down to Mike and Jim feeding and playing with our cats while we were away. Those are the the kind of unasked-for extras that we'll always remember. I am delighted, also, that we balanced what's best for the resale value of the house with what we've and I wanted for our lifestyle now. We're so happy with the results of your fine work that we're considering staying in our house when we retire in 10 years instead of moving to the shore. That says so much.
